Our Story
At Aussie Hog Hunters, we provide a hunting and outdoor experience with a guide in cape York Queensland. With over 200,000 hectares of land to explore and hunt , we target feral pigs, but there are other feral species such as goats and deer that we let our guests hunt along the way. There are also opportunities to wet a fishing line and chase some barramundi and other species.
We are based out of Laura Far North Queensland. About 2 hours north of Cooktown.

Back to nature package.
Camp out under the stars surrounded by mother nature. Staying in swags with meals provided for 4 days 3 nights. This package allows longer hunting periods as the bush camp is out in the middle of the station.

Hunters package.
4 days 3 nights - make your own way to the station where you will be picked up by one of our guides. You will be staying in air-conditioned Dongas with 3 meals a day provided.
Hunting times may vary day/night.
$4800.00 pp
Hunting and fishing package.
5 days 4 nights all meals and accommodation included.
Transfers from either Cooktown or Cairns airports.
Clients will have the option for a remote camp out under the stars in swags. This package is for the hunter / fisherman that wants to really get amongst remote cape York

The corporate package.
6 days 5 nights all meals and accommodation. All transfers from either Cooktown or Cairns airports. This package can be adapted to what the client would like either fishing or hunting or what they feel like doing on the specific day. Prior to Arrival there will be a nights stay at the paperbark retreat in Cooktown to get ready for the big week ahead. There is the option to make this stay on your final night prior to departure.
You can rest and relax by the pool or head down to Cooktown for a look around the town.

None hunters also welcome at a reduced rate and also children under the age of 12 are free.
We also cater for bow hunters and if you just want to come camping and fishing this can also be organised.
Weapons can be hired at a flat day rate of $80 per day - ammunition is included in this fee.
If ammunition needs to be purchased prior to arrival please discuss this option with us.
We do recommend if you have your own favourite hunting or fishing gear please bring it with you.
